Corn Maze at Riverview Farm, CT |
Even though cooler temps have bathed New England over the last week, many farms are still hosting their corn mazes and hayrides through the end of the month. So grab an extra pair of mittens if you need to or wrap up in a scarf and head out to savor the last foliage-filled weeks of fall.

Where Has New England Fall Events Been Lately?
On Saturday we stopped in at the Glastonbury Apple Harvest Festival for some live music, rides, crafts, apple pie, cider, and over 150 local vendors.
Antique tractors at Riverview Farms, CT |
From there it was an easy jaunt to visit postcard-pretty Riverview Farms in South Glastonbury, CT which was in full swing! We were thrilled to partake in their corn maze, petting zoo, and warm apple fritters! We loved their interactive tractor display, pumpkin bounce house, and the foliage we took in during their hayride was just lovely.
Sunday we made a stop in at Lyman Orchards for some breakfast at the Apple Barrel where we stocked up on some local cheese, homemade pumpkin pie, and the sweetest apple cider we've ever tasted.
